Activity Check
Neon Requiem uses a modified "check-in" activity check. There are no comment counts for activity check. Instead, your AC is in the form of a report written by your character and submitted to their caseworker at the Bureau of Soul Affairs. (If your character would absolutely refuse to do this, AC can be written by their caseworker instead!) This report is a brief summary of or thoughts on your character’s activities of the month, to be added to their file for consideration in Soul Judgment.
This can be as long or short as you like, in any format you please. Your character can attempt to mislead or lie. However, if they do lie, the truth of their activities will appear as a magical addendum at the bottom of the page (because we really do want to know what they’re up to!) Don't worry: there will be no consequences for what your character confesses in AC.
AC is due by midnight EST on the last day of each month. Failure to post will result in your character being swept from the game.
If circumstances require that you take a hiatus, you are excused from AC for the requested calendar month. You may only take one hiatus per three month period. (EX: if you hiatus in January, you must complete AC for February and March.)
If you are in need of a longer hiatus or you have special circumstances of any kind, please let the mods know and we'll be happy to work something out with you.
For new characters: Reply beneath your handle with your character's name and canon in the subject line. All of your monthly AC will replied to this comment (see example below.)
For all characters: Each month, reply to your character's comment, write the month in the subject line, and write your AC in the comment. You can do this in any format you like, but here's a nice standard form to make things simple.

Master Bramer,
Allow me begin this report by expressing my gratitude for your efforts in locating Sir Terence. I understand now, far more than I had when we first met, the true enormity of what I asked. Yet you promised to see it done no matter how long it would take.
I would like to rescind my request. Again, thank you.
This past month I have found lodgings in West Hedge with Caleb Widogast and his associate, Frumpkin. Caleb's company has been a most welcome boon and I am glad to have his acquaintance and hope to be a worthy friend to him, in time.
Regrettably, my soul was not the only one drawn here from Valisthea. I have found Lady Jill Warrick and
IfritLord Clive Rosfield. They are not meant for this place or any afterlife. If it possible I would ask you to amend my request to Lady Neisha that she may rectify this error. Please inform me at your earliest convenience when this has been done or what further steps are required to make it so.In the following days I will seek recruitment into BEASTFORCE. From what I have seen of their work I believe them to be the best match for my current skills.

Master Bramer,
I understand that seeking and retaining employment was a concern for you in particular these past moons, thus you will be relieved to know that BEASTFORCE has accepted my bid to join their ranks. There are certain cultural differences that will take time to fully adjust to, but on a whole I find the work as well as the atmosphere fulfilling.
It reminds meI have maintained regular contact with Jill Warrick and semi-regular contact with Clive Rosfield. The former especially has proven to be a most welcome balm and I can only hope that my own company offers her the same comfort. I have also begun regular correspondence with Simon Van Reyk; though the term he prefers to use is 'pen pals'. I have also met again with Jack Krauser and Leon Kennedy though I am not certain of the purpose behind knowing every last detail of my interpersonal life...
You held concerns for my living situation after the sudden departure of Caleb Widogast. By chance I met a young man who calls himself 'P' who was in need of lodgings.
He isI find himI enjoy his company and am glad to have him near.During the recent job faire I met again with Lady Mara Sov and Lord Shaxx; I also attended the Fall Festival. There are no doubt a number of details that I am forgetting
which you will certainly remind me of when next we meet.Regards,

Master Bramer,
Is there a purpose to the police force in this city? They seem to do little and less to actively protect the souls who reside here. That the abductions happened at all is enough of a stain on the reputation of those that claim to enforce Requiem's laws, that there has been no word of any investigation after the fact is nothing short of an active insult to both the victims of this attack as well as their loved ones.

Goodness me I am so, so sorry about that awful kidnapping that happened to you and your friends... I put in a request with my supervisors to have the matter looked into right away! Unfortunately I have not heard anything back yet so...I'll ask again!
In the meanwhile, I can check to see what resources we have regarding rebates for therapy appointments. It's been a century or two since my training but I'm sure I remember that we offer something like that!
Also, so sorry, but your report this month is a tiny bit short on details...my sources show that the kidnapping wasn't the only thing you got up to this month! Can you reply back with some more information? Or if you had another cup of cocoa I suppose I could overlook it again...

Your 'sources' tell you what I have been up to and yet you still requireI visited the Felix Night Casino's spa and made a couple new acquaintances. I reconnected with Lord Shaxx as well as my friend Jill Warrick, as always. The blizzard was spent in her home along with Clive Rosfield and Jack Krauser. There was a snowball fight at some point. Is this sufficient?

Though I question the necessity of these reports if you are already aware of my activities, herein lies a summary of this moon's events.
The 'speed-dating' event could have been vastly improved with full transparency rather than using deception to entice participants. I was not the only one to find themselves lured in under false pretenses. That said, I have been forced to endure far worse social gatherings and I did make a number of new acquaintances. Perhaps an offer of compensation to lure in reluctant souls would work for future attempts and leave a more favorable impression of city officials.
Though I am certain of the answer already I must ask: will aught be done regarding the accident that resulted in Requiem's water supply being contaminated? If it truly was an accident...
You already know why I am asking and I will not be giving you further details.

Master Bramer,
More and more I doubt the necessity of these reports. You've 'sources' to keep you informed of my activities, do you not? Yet you insist on hearing the my version of events. In the interest of keeping our contact to a minimum, I will comply.
In truth this month was relatively quiet and seems to have passed quickly. The cottage has grown quiet once more though I am in no rush to fill that void just yet.
The position seems to be cursed.Jill, as ever, remains as close and precious as family. I worry for her, as I am certain she worries for me. At least I am learning not to turn away from it. Jack is another friend I am increasingly grateful for.Starting next moon I will begin taking classes at Atropos University at the behest of Luis and have been enjoying the Hanami Festival in my idle hours. It is my hope to attend a play with Astarion soon, that I may keep my word to the man.
May this peace linger.

After my last missive, it occurred to me my prayer for peace might become a curse.
Though I will say I have suffered greater strife, I will be sure never to repeat such words ever again, lest fate be further tempted.
These trials may have put the faith my family has in me to the test, I am ever grateful that they persevered. Even those strange dreams have brought Jill and I closer, and...brought certain truths to light that I will have to think on in the coming days.
If it is possible, I would know of any records you might have on souls who have passed through Limbo and no longer remain. If it is not then you need only tell me as much and I will leave the matter be.
Yet if it is possible--Please give me your answer at your earliest convenience.

It was heartening to see the lessons Winter Solstice taught us have not been forgotten. The Spring Gala was a most enjoyable and, most importantly, strife free affair. Though I wonder at the wisdom of funneling new arrivals into such an extravagant event, still fresh from orientation. Though I understand you are far from the wraith overseeing such logistics, Master Bramer...
On the other hand, perhaps a gala with food and drink in place of the traditional orientation would be preferable to new arrivals.
The Spring Gala was not the only event I attended this moon, though I must beg your forgiveness in being discreet with the details. There was a great deal of drink. I am certain that you're well aware of my activities regardless.

Master Bramer,
While this moon brought a number of challenges, I can honestly say they have been welcome ones, for the most part. Joshua's long awaited arrival being first among them. Time will tell how his presence will change the course of our fates, though I can only imagine it to be for the better.
The matter of the mirrors brought with them their own revelations as well... Was the cause of this ever ascertained? I expect not, lest it had aught to do with the carnival that emerged from the sea.
Though it will be a pleasant diversion I look forward to enjoying for leisure rather than hunting.
