Activity Check
Neon Requiem uses a modified "check-in" activity check. There are no comment counts for activity check. Instead, your AC is in the form of a report written by your character and submitted to their caseworker at the Bureau of Soul Affairs. (If your character would absolutely refuse to do this, AC can be written by their caseworker instead!) This report is a brief summary of or thoughts on your character’s activities of the month, to be added to their file for consideration in Soul Judgment.
This can be as long or short as you like, in any format you please. Your character can attempt to mislead or lie. However, if they do lie, the truth of their activities will appear as a magical addendum at the bottom of the page (because we really do want to know what they’re up to!) Don't worry: there will be no consequences for what your character confesses in AC.
AC is due by midnight EST on the last day of each month. Failure to post will result in your character being swept from the game.
If circumstances require that you take a hiatus, you are excused from AC for the requested calendar month. You may only take one hiatus per three month period. (EX: if you hiatus in January, you must complete AC for February and March.)
If you are in need of a longer hiatus or you have special circumstances of any kind, please let the mods know and we'll be happy to work something out with you.
For new characters: Reply beneath your handle with your character's name and canon in the subject line. All of your monthly AC will replied to this comment (see example below.)
For all characters: Each month, reply to your character's comment, write the month in the subject line, and write your AC in the comment. You can do this in any format you like, but here's a nice standard form to make things simple.

MONTHLY SOUL REPORT
This past moon has been full of things I've never experienced before. I've met someone who has already become dear to me, Nimbus, though I call them by their personal name and not the one they use with the public. I have never met someone who is both male and female at once and while it is something new to navigate (and it takes trouble to remember to use they even though they are but one person), I feel that Nimbus is worth that trouble.
I met someone called Jill who seems to bear the weight of a noble house on her shoulders the same as I - no one can understand that burden unless they have lived it. Balthier has told me about great ships that fly through the air and Caleb has magic at the tips of his fingers even though such things are so rare in Westeros.
I don't know how to conclude such a message but I feel I must mention that I worry about the North constantly. I wonder what Winterfell does without her queen, if things are in hand or if I should be actively finding a way to return?

MONTHLY SOUL REPORT
I have been busy working on sewing commissions for much of the month so I have not been out and about as much as I normally am. I think it is quite important for me to establish myself here in the city as someone who can stand on her own two feet and since my name and my title mean nothing, I have to do it in another way.
I hope that next moon I will be a bit more active and able to get out and enjoy myself instead of burying myself in work.

MONTHLY SOUL REPORT
This month was not so eventful for me as past months. I did attend something called "speed dating" and met Jill Warrick there. Our descriptions both seemed to involve similar themes so perhaps that is why we were matched together.
I have been working on my clothing and I am looking to try and open a proper storefront soon.

MONTHLY SOUL REPORT
This past moon has been a quiet one for me. I experienced strange dreams along with my friends and it was...odd for them to know things about me that I wouldn't reveal otherwise. In a way, it was a good thing - I never have to describe them again and they understand me somewhat better.
Aside from this, I am still sewing as much as I can as it keeps me from fretting about what might be happening at Winterfell in my absence.

This moon I attended a masquerade with Nimbus and enjoyed myself immensely. It was another chance to show off a dress I made for myself and I am hoping to open my own shop very soon!
It was a quiet month, otherwise, but I look forward to seeing what the next few bring.

MONTHLY SOUL REPORT
This month I searched for places to open a shop. I have been able to sell custom clothing since I established myself here but I would like my own storefront to sell directly instead of merely taking commissions.
I am afraid this may be out of my reach without taking some sort of loan, however, and I am leery of doing such in the city. I will talk it over with Nimbus and see what they think.
